History
The Peterborough and District Tennis League (PaDTL) is a not-for-profit organisation which arranges matches for 20 to 30 teams of its member clubs. A summer league operates May to August and a winter league operates October to March.
PaDTL began as a ‘works tennis’ organisation for the large employers in Peterborough such as British Gas, British Rail, British Sugar, Thomas Cook, Perkins and Peter Brotherhood.
Clubs from Peterborough and the surrounding areas of Bourne, Castor, Kings Cliffe, Market Deeping, Oundle, Spalding, Stamford and Whittlesey provide teams.
The league AGM is held every March.
